30 Days of Being a Love Machine: Day 8
Day 8 Challenge:
Go to anyone you love and kiss them - meaningfully (on the lips, the cheek, the forehead, the hand, the arm...). Keep it sweet and classy.

Cheek-to-cheek kisses are sweet, but a little impersonal. In some countries, you do it to anyone you meet. But, to connect to someone else’s skin intentionally with love is a beautiful feeling.
Often times, we feel comfortably doing it to babies and animals - you know, things that don’t talk back and/or purposely reject us. It would be nice to feel this as a normalcy with people you love: family (immediate and extended), friends, significant other. Why not get it started today?
Again, this may be something that is uncomfortable for people at first, but deep down, we all crave affection. Kory Floyd PhD finds that a lack of affection can have detrimental physical, emotional and mental effects on living organisms. They can bring on issues such as: loneliness, stress, anxiety, depression, and secondary immune disorders (acquired not inherited) as stated in Psychology Today. So, take your time and give a meaningful kiss full of intention to someone you love, who has love for you too.
It is possible if this isn’t something you typically engage in, the person you love may be startled or taken aback. Don’t be offended or thrown off your love path. You may have to give a quick reason as to why. For this, “just ‘cause” may actually work. Your affection can be accompanied with others or stand solo. It can be fun, but don’t make it a joke. Fill the action with love from you for the person.
