Mind Your Aim

We obviously know words are important because it's how we humans communicate, whether we're speaking or signing. However, we don't always take into account the energy our words hold. There are times when words fly from our lips or hands without thinking. Sometimes it’s great, saturated with love, and intended to be helpful. Other times, they hurt.

I can bet that all of us can remember something that was said to us that we’ve held onto that has positively or negatively shaped us. We glow when we think of the positive things said. We can shrink, drink, or burn with anger when memories arise of hurtful words that were said.

Think before you speak. There are times when letting your feelings out and speaking through your emotions can be helpful. On the other hand, the more kind and gentle we are with ourselves and others is always helpful. Dr. Masaru Emoto studied how words affect water. You can see his findings here. In short, positive ideas and words made beautiful crystals in the frozen droplets of water while harmful ideas and words made the crystals unappealing. The purpose of this study was to correlate with humans since water makes up 55%-65% of our body (dependent on age, health, and sex).

"We glow when we think of the positive things said."

So, start your practice today, or especially when you’re not exactly looking forward to getting ready for or getting into work, of using words with positive energy. Instead of ridiculing or criticizing yourself and others, choose positive words carefully. Let your energy around your words shift to a positive vibration.

EXAMPLES:"Can’t you do anything right?" becomes "I can do better." or "I know you can do better.""I can’t stand that person." becomes "I prefer not to engage.""Quit your b****ing." becomes "Let’s focus on the bright side of things.""You suck" becomes "Nope.""Stupid!" becomes "I was hoping for a different outcome." or "You're funny."And, the gossiping stops. You can have conversations without gossip. If you’re going to talk about anyone, including yourself, say good things. “If you don’t have anything nice to say…” you know the drill.

Keep in mind that intention is also very important. Mix your good intentions with positive words and magic will take place; it'll be difficult to put or keep you in a bad mood. Go forth and be kind.

"Aiyana has been a breath of fresh air. She has been extremely helpful in our sessions and has given me great advice.

With her guidance, I can now see clearly what my future has in-store for me. Coming from a uncertain place she really gave me some peace of mind in a time where I was frustrated. With that being said I am extremely grateful for Aiyana and her gifts."
